Little by little, life changes us all,
weaves our paths together, while leaving others to walk alone.
We laugh with joy and cry when we are sad,
we wither in sorrow, or keep moving in circles.
But deep in our souls, we carry hope,
and seek a direction that leads us upward.
Life is beautiful, life is colorful, my friend!
Even when it pulls you apart, even when life is hard,
live it openly, don’t let it lead you astray,
and offer it comfort when you hear it sigh.
He holds in his hands a thousand absurd reasons,
…to keep the heart beating, wrapped in countless scars.
He jokes and laughs, shows his wolfish teeth —
but love him anyway! He is a gift, precious and dear.
